Since it's only one chick, it's less likely to be an environmental issue and more of a personality thing. Some chicks just have strong vocal tendencies! Keep an eye on its behavior, but if everything else seems normal, it might just be a chatty little one.

Wood ash from a clean fire (no chemicals or treated wood) can be mixed into their dust bath. It helps suffocate lice and keeps them from spreading.

If you have local mills or farm co-ops, check if they sell bulk feed. Sometimes you can get high-quality feed at a lower price than name brands.
