Be careful with treats too early,it can make them picky eaters later on! I wait at least two weeks before offering anything beyond their normal feed.

I've seen some hatcheries use mild disinfectants in incubator water, but I haven't heard of chlorine specifically. If you try it, use test strips to ensure it's safe. Definitely separate brooders! Ducks turn everything into a swamp, and chicks need dry bedding. Once feathered, they can share space as long as you manage the wet areas.
