It really depends on the personalities of your ducks! I've had some take just a few days, while others took over a month. Patience is key.

Ive heard you can fix a cracked egg with glue and still hatch it. Has anyone tried this? What kind of glue works best?

I just got a batch of shipped eggs, and many arrived cracked. Hoping to save someany advice?

My friend has two mature roosters that were raised together in a flock with hens. Unfortunately, theyve started overbreeding and stressing the hens, likely because there arent enough to go around. Separating them seems like the best option, but rehoming or culling them is not on the table.

Could be something as simple as food or dust irritating her throat. Make sure she has fresh water, and check if she improves overnight.

You could also hatch eggs from only one rooster at a time and rotate which rooster's eggs you hatch. This helps spread out the genetic contribution.
