Your nephew is going to be busy! Freezing is easiest, but drying or fermenting might be better long-term. Have you thought about using them fresh, feeding them daily instead of storing them?

I used 2x4s and chicken wire for a simple frame , cheap and effective as long as you secure it well at the base.
