I'd wonder about stress from isolation affecting her digestion. Maybe try giving her some high-protein treats like scrambled eggs to boost her energy.

Re: When Rooster Rivalry Turns Bloody What Can I Do?

Re: Breeding My Own Meat Birds Whats the Best Cross?
Keep in mind that most commercial meat birds today come from carefully selected lines that aren't easy to replicate at home. However, a Cornish x Delaware or Cornish x White Rock cross should still work well.

Re: Understanding the Impact of Humidity on Developing Chicks During Incubation
I once had my humidity spike to 80% during lockdown due to an issue with my incubator. Almost all of my chicks drowned in their shells. It was devastating.

Re: Help! Our Chicken Run Is a Muddy, Smelly Mess!
I had the same issue, and I started with sand, but it didn,t work well in the wet conditions. Now, I use a combination of wood shavings and straw, and I also have a small area where I added some cedar chips for odor control. Regular cleaning is key, but the straw has helped absorb moisture. I,ve ...
