If moisture is a persistent issue, consider using a dehumidifier or fan in the coop during particularly wet seasons.

Make sure your coop has a roof overhang to prevent rain from blowing in. Even a small gap can let in a lot of moisture.

Try raising the coop floor slightly to improve drainage. Even a few inches can make a big difference in keeping things dry.

I've found that adding a layer of lime or wood ash under the bedding helps absorb excess moisture and keeps the coop drier.

Try mixing in absorbent materials like hemp bedding or kiln-dried pine shavings. They help wick away moisture better than straw or hay.

Check for leaks or damp spots in your coop. Sometimes moisture builds up from small cracks or gaps you might not notice at first.
