I'd say don't go over 15% of the total ration, or you might dilute the protein too much. That 22% feed is great for keeping up egg production, and too many oats could drop it below ideal.

I usually stick to around 10-15% oats in the mix during winter. Too much can dilute protein too much, but in moderation, it helps keep them warm and active!

I also supplement with oats, but I balance it out by adding some extra mealworms or sunflower seeds to keep the protein up. Have you noticed if your hens lay less when you add more oats?

I've done up to 20% oats when molting season overlaps with cold weather, but I make sure to add some extra amino acids like methionine to support feather regrowth.

I tried adding about 25% oats once, and my egg production dropped noticeably. I'd suggest keeping it closer to 10-15% to avoid that issue!
