I've tried both and honestly, the layer feed seemed to give my hens the extra nutrients they needed. I noticed a difference in production after about a month.

I've tried All-Flock from Nutrena, but I didn't notice much improvement. I switched to Layer Crumbles, and that did the trick for me. It could just depend on your flock's needs!

Switching to Nutrena made a huge difference for me, especially with my younger hens. I went with the Layer Pellets, and they started laying much more consistently after about 3 weeks.

I use All-Flock feed for my mixed-age flock, and I add extra calcium for my layers. I think it's the best of both worlds. My egg production has definitely picked up since.

I switched to Nutrena a few months ago, and my egg production definitely improved. I personally use their Layer Crumbles instead of all-flock feed because it has the proper calcium levels for laying hens.

If you're mainly dealing with older hens that aren't producing much, it might be worth switching to the Nutrena Layer Feed. That extra calcium seems to be what they need.
