For large flocks, a medicated feed can be a simple solution. You can add a dewormer to their regular feed, and they'll ingest it without you needing to catch them. Just be sure to follow the dosage instructions carefully based on your flock's size.

I've used a broad-spectrum dewormer in the water for my free-range chickens. It's an easy, hands-off method where the chickens just drink the medicated water. You'll need to make sure they have access to it for a few days, and the rain can dilute it, so keep an eye on that.

I personally prefer using the water-soluble dewormers. You can easily mix them into the flock's water, and they ingest the medication as they drink. It's simple and efficient, especially for free-range chickens who aren't easy to catch. Just make sure you follow the recommended dosage instructions.

For a large flock, the best method is a dewormer added to their feed or water. This way, you don't need to catch each chicken individually. I use a product like Safeguard or Valbazen, both of which work well in large flocks and can be administered without handling the birds.
