Don't stress too much,chickens are hardy, and they'll teach you as much as you teach them. Just make sure they have food, water, and a safe place to sleep, and the rest will fall into place. Welcome to the flock!166 I've never tried chlorinated water, but I'd be cautious. Even low levels might impact humidity or embryos. Maybe test it with a small batch first?
The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.
