Bloody droppings might also be from eating something toxic. Have you changed her feed recently, or could she have gotten into anything unusual?

I tried a deep litter trough once, and it worked okay. Just be sure to manage moisture well,wet bedding and poop can lead to nasty ammonia buildup.

Since the others seem fine, it's likely not a health issue. Some chicks just peep a lot,especially when they want company!

I use diluted Oxine for routine cleaning,it's safe around birds and doesn't require rinsing. For deep cleans, Virkon S is excellent when left to dry completely.

Growing mushrooms on spent grain could be another idea. They offer amino acids chickens need, and you can use waste material to grow them.

If it's just the comb changing color but he's eating and drinking normally, he might recover on his own. Keep an eye on his energy levels.
